Red-Hot

It is definitely Spring, both on the calendar and outside.  Apple trees are in full bloom, as well as Forsythia bushes, bees are flying everywhere, sun is shining.  We are three days into Spring ant it is 80 degrees outside.  People are already wearing shorts and sandals - let's be honest, it is hot.

I will take hot over cold any time, so it makes me happy.  I feel like flowers, lots of flowers.  Not cut flowers, but live ones, growing, opening in the morning, closing at night.  Too bad I was grumpy last Fall and did not plant any bulbs in our backyard.

Oh well, I will make up for it making glass flowers.  I have inherited a treasure - a box of mixed bevels, most wonderful shapes and sizes.  I thought right away they would be great used as accents, to bring that Spring-day sparkle to my panels.  So here are my Poppies, red-hot and sparkling.
